About Us. |
What is SkillsUSA? SkillsUSA is a career-oriented CTSO that aids students in developing their Personal, Workplace, and Technical Skills. Through interactive meetings in which students participate in group games and educational activities, garner insight through experiences with guest speakers, and build lasting relationships with their peers. Members gain a trove of knowledge that they can immediately put to use upon their entrance into the workplace.

Why should I join? SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit student organization serving over 300,000 students and professional members in all fifty states and two U.S. Territories. By joining SkillsUSA, members can connect with individuals across the nation, interact with future employers and educational institutions, earn recognition through success in a wide array of competitive events, build their personal skill set, and most importantly, have fun.
Our chapter attends several out-of-school events in which students can choose to participate including Fall Rally, Fall Leadership Conference, SkillsUSA Regional Competition, SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference, and National Leadership and Skills Conference. Moreover, students are invited to serve on committees for and attend various chapter events at school, including our Annual Holiday Party, International Breakfast, Trunk or Treat, St.Patrick's Day Party, and Champions Banquet. We pride ourselves in building upon the 'personal equity' of SkillsUSA members; each SkillsUSA member is introduced to a wide variety of professional development opportunities, and taught to 'push their boundaries' in order to achieve success at any level. |
Our Accomplishments

The following year, the American Spirit team and our Health Occupation Professional Portfolio competitor qualified for nations. This year, our new Entrepreneurship team won Silver, creating an impressive record of placing champions at Nationals. |
STATE OFFICERS: SkillsUSA Georgia announced that our chapter's very own Joseph Jacobson will be joining the 2021-2022 State Officer Team. He is a current sophomore and has been a valued member of AAI SkillsUSA since 2019. Joseph is following in the footsteps of Alliance's Joshua Abraham, the 2020-2021 State Parliamentarian. |
SKILLSUSA STATESMAN AWARD: In October of Alliance Academy's second year (2019-20), our leadership team attended the annual SkillsUSA Georgia FLC, held this year at the Georgia FFA Camp.
